Debby Akam worked with Maryport residents to develop designs for a public space next to the harbour. Seating was cut from limestone, granite and sandstone, reflecting pebbles found on Maryport beach, and the Wave sculpture provided a viewpoint out to sea and a focus for play. This project was managed by Groundwork West Cumbria for the trustees of the Millennium Green.
